  • RSNA® has more than 42,000 members in 121 countries.
  • More than 62,000 people attended the 2007 RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, including 27,593 professionals from more than 100 countries. The scientific assembly is the largest annual medical meeting in the world. It has been held consecutively in Chicago since 1985. McCormick Place was first used in 1975.
  • Full RSNA members in North America pay 2009 dues of $385 annually. Membership benefits are worth at least $1,065 ($620 for annual meeting with advance registration, $425 for print editions of Radiology and RadioGraphics, and $20 for RSNA News—value based on nonmember North American subscription rates). Members also receive 20% off RSNA educational materials, free access to continuing medical education (CME) credit on InteractED®, RSNA CME Repository, free access to online RSNA journals and many indirect benefits.
  • RSNA publishes two peer-reviewed medical journals:

  • InteractED, an online educational resource, offers more than 300 CME programs.
  • Since its inception in July 2000, InteractED has issued more than 358,953 CME certificates.
  • Since 1984, the RSNA Research & Education Foundation has provided nearly $28 million in grant support to fund 710 education and research programs.
  • The RSNA Board of Directors has eight members, each serving a six-year term.
  • RSNA employs 165 people.
  • RSNA headquarters, located at 820 Jorie Blvd. in Oak Brook, Ill., opened in October 1998.
