RSNA EdCentral Offers a Variety of Education in One Place

RSNA’s new educational platform, EdCentral, is designed to support radiology professionals as they advance through their careers. Offering a range of educational content from quick bites to full courses and webinars, as well as the latest from Radiology and RadioGraphics, EdCentral is the hub for curated content across all RSNA science and education.

This exclusive benefit for RSNA members evolves with individualized activity and recommends new articles and educational modules based on personal preferences. Spotlight Course: Implementing and Evaluating AI for Radiology

Registration opens in February for the RSNA Spotlight Course “Implementing and Evaluating AI for Radiology,” an interactive virtual course to be held March 14 & March 21, 2024. 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. ET.

Attendees will gain skills to critically evaluate and successfully integrate AI solutions into everyday workflows, will explore case studies and clinical applications for AI and attend live lectures and Q&A sessions with expert course faculty, including Nina E. Kottler, M.D., M.S., William W. Boonn, M.D., and Ryan K. Lee, M.D., M.B.A. 


RSNA Hosts Grant Proposal Workshop in March

Registration is open for the Writing a Competitive Grant Proposal Workshop designed for junior faculty and researchers in radiology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine and related sciences who are pursuing federal funding. The 1 ½-day program will be held March 15 – 16, 2024, at RSNA headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois. The workshop is guided by a faculty of leading researchers with extensive experience in all aspects of grant applications and funding and will emphasize developing specific aims to be included in a grant application. Participants will be given tools for getting started in the grant writing process and developing realistic expectations. For additional information and registration visit RSNA.org/WCGP.


Registration Opens for RSNA Medical 3D Printing in Practice

At this in-person course, held April 19 – 20, 2024, at Convene at Willis Tower in Chicago, participants will learn the latest in medical 3D printing with didactic lectures, posters and expert demonstrations focusing on 3D printing technology, research and policy regulation.


RSNA Medical Student Research Grant Deadline February 2

The deadline to apply for the RSNA Research and Education Foundation’s Medical Student Research Grant is Friday, February 2. Grant recipients will gain research experience in medical imaging, including defining objectives, developing research skills and testing hypotheses.


RSNA Helps Residents Prepare for the ABR CORE Exam

Residents preparing for the ABR CORE exam this year can use the RSNA/AAPM Online Physics Modules. Located in the Online Learning Center, the modules help trainees explore and understand important physics content. RSNA and American Association of Physicists in Medicine members can access the modules for free.


Register or Upgrade to Virtual Access for RSNA 2023

The RSNA 2023 theme, Leading Through Change, highlighted the evolving field of radiology and centered on how radiology professionals can be intentional and proactive as we navigate and lead others through change.

RSNA Announces Annual Meeting Dates Through 2032

Starting in 2027 and continuing every other year (2029, 2031…), the RSNA annual meeting will be held two weeks earlier (in Mid-November), ending the week before Thanksgiving. In even-numbered years (2028, 2030…), the meeting will be held during the traditional week following Thanksgiving. RSNA recently extended its agreement with the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority to hold the RSNA annual meeting at McCormick Place Chicago through 2032.
