RSNA 2019 Online Abstract Submission Deadline Approaching
The online system to submit abstracts for RSNA 2019 is open. The submission deadline is Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at noon Central Time (CT). Abstracts are required for scientific presentations, education exhibits, applied science and quality improvement reports. The top neuroradiology scientific paper as selected by the Scientific Program Committee will receive a $3,000 award at RSNA 2019. Trainees are also eligible to receive a $1,000 research prize.

RSNA 2018 Virtual Meeting Available Through April 30
The RSNA 2018 Virtual Meeting programming is available on demand through April 30 at 4 p.m. Central Time (CT). Register at RSNA.org/Register to access over 200 on-demand courses and 23 CME-eligible courses on demand.

Radiology: Cardiothoracic Imaging Debuts This month, RSNA will debut the second of its new bi-monthly online journals: Radiology: Cardiothoracic Imaging. RSNA members will receive a complimentary subscription to the new journal as a member benefit. Institutions can receive free access through December 31, 2019 by registering at RSNA.org/freetrial.

Radiology: Imaging Cancer Accepting Submissions
Radiology: Imaging Cancer has issued a call for submissions. RSNA’s third new journal debuts later this year and will focus on cancer screening, differential diagnosis and treatment planning.

Conclusions from RSNA Summit on AI
“Fostering a Healthy AI Ecosystem for Radiology: Conclusions of the 2018 RSNA Summit on AI in Radiology” was published as a Special Report in the latest volume of Radiology: Artificial Intelligence. The report outlines opportunities for adoption of AI in radiology for the benefit of patients.

RSNA Artificial Intelligence Webinar Series Available On-Demand
RSNA’s 60-minute webinars on artificial intelligence (AI) are now available on-demand. Webinars include: “Intro to AI and Machine Learning: Why All the Buzz,” “Current State and Future Perspectives of AI,” “Future Applications of AI,” and “AI, an Ally or Enemy: A Roundtable Discussion.”

RSNA members can access the on-demand recordings for $35 per webinar. Non-members can access the on-demand webinars for $50 per webinar. The on-demand recordings offer SA-CME credit. For more information and a list of speakers and course objectives for each webinar, visit RSNA.org/AI-Webinars.

RSNA Offers First U.S. Spotlight Course
RSNA continues its commitment to artificial intelligence (AI) education with two new regional courses this spring, including the first RSNA Spotlight course to be held in the U.S. “Radiology in the Age of AI,” will take place May 31-June 1, 2019, in San Francisco, Calif. The course will be taught by a slate of thought leaders in AI and features two keynote speakers: Dr. Andrew Ng and Dr. Lloyd B. Minor. Another regional AI course, “Comprehensive AI for Practicing Radiologists,” will be held May 3-4, 2019, in Paris, France.

Gadolinium Retention Workshop Presentations
In February 2018, a workshop, sponsored by RSNA, the National Institutes of Health, and the American College of Radiology, was held in Bethesda, Md., to explore concerns about the safety of gadolinium-based contrast agents (GBCAs) and gadolinium retention. Value of Imaging Through Comparative Effectiveness (VOICE) Program
The RSNA Value of Imaging through Comparative Effectiveness (VOICE) Program is an interactive training program designed to meet the needs of imaging scientists interested in conducting comparative effectiveness research to demonstrate the value of imaging. Beginning in September, attendees will participate in two interactive 1½-day in-person workshops, online educational courses and webinars. The two workshops will be held Sept. 27–28, 2019, and Feb. 28–29, 2020, at RSNA headquarters in Oak Brook, Ill. Earlybird registration is available through May 2, 2019. CORE Workshop Registration Open
The 2019 Creating and Optimizing the Research Enterprise (CORE) workshop will take place Oct. 17–18 at RSNA headquarters. The workshop focuses on strategies for developing and advancing imaging research programs in radiology, radiation oncology and nuclear medicine departments and features a combination of presentations, case studies and group discussions. RSNA/ASNR Comparative Effectiveness Research Training (CERT) Program
RSNA and the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) jointly sponsor the Comparative Effectiveness Research Training (CERT) Program, an interactive course in com¬parative effectiveness research, targeted to junior faculty and senior trainees in imaging science.

Beginning in July 2019, the CERT program will include a series of online modules. The 1½-day, in-person workshop and web-based didactic lectures and grant proposal review discussion will be held Oct. 10–11 at RSNA headquarters. There is no fee for this course. Applications will be accepted at RSNA.org/CERT through April 30, 2019.

Introduction to Research for International Young Academics
The Introduction to Research for International Young Academics (IRIYA) workshop encourages young radiologists from around the world to pursue careers in academic radiology. During a four-day seminar held during the RSNA annual meeting, participants will learn about academic radiology, gain real-world insight from other RSNA mem¬bers and network with future mentors. RSNA Editorial Fellowship
